You: have graduated from college or university within the past three years; are 30 or under; and enjoy putting your highly creative marketing skills to work on new events and campaigns.

Us: The Chamber and Festival are seeking interested candidates to be our Events and Marketing Communications Coordinator.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is aware of the community impact of the Chamber and Festival and wants to contribute to the collective work that the Chamber does on behalf of the business and broader community, and the Festival does for its Stakeholders.

You will play a primary role in communication, prospecting, marketing, proposal writing and following through on deliverables. The individual would ensure that activity standards are met or exceeded, demonstrating the ability to provide a high level of client satisfaction and customer service.

You will also serve all primary functions of event planning and communication for the Chamber and its members, and will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of Chamber events. The individual would spearhead social media campaigns and creating the guest online experience for the Festival.

Education: The ideal candidate will have an educational background and experience in business administration, marketing/events/project management, marketing, communications or public relations, and should be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, database management, and general office procedures. Excellent communications skills (including written), highly fluent in English (written), and be highly creative.

Successful candidates will also be those who have experience in design, website management and social media platforms.

Qualifications & Requirements:

 Graduate of a business administration, marketing, events or project management program or related discipline

Individual must meet the criteria of the FedNor Program: You must be 30 and under and have graduated within the past three years from college or university. You must be legally entitled to work in Canada and have not previously taken part in a FedNor internship.
